What does a family service worker do?

A family service worker is responsible for providing social services and assistance to help better the psychological and social wellbeing of children and families. This can include helping parents, helping to find foster homes and arrange adoptions for children in need. Family service workers can also help out in schools, tending to situations such as pregnancy and insubordination.
